Pharmacy Technician 1
Course #: 830526 - Grades: 11, 12 - Credits: One
The Pharmacy Technician 1 course will meet every other day for the full-year, beginning on the first day of the new academic year.

Pharmacy Technician 2
Course #: 830626 – Grades: 12 – Credits: Two
The Pharmacy Technician 2 course meets every day for the full academic year. This course incorporates both classroom and clinical pharmacy experiences. The student will be given the opportunity to meet state pharmacy technician competencies as well as be exposed to the larger arena of pharmacy careers. Students in this course are eligible to sit for the Virginia Pharmacy Technician Certification provided they have a Social Security Number or a control number issued by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles as required by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy.
All students enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician 2 course participate in a clinical experience program during second semester with Walgreens Pharmacy.
