2024-25 Falls Church Academy Registration Process
Interested in attending courses at Falls Church Academy? Follow the steps below:
- Review the Falls Church Academy classes you are considering and read the course descriptions on the Falls Church Academy website. For more course information from the students and teachers, visit the Falls Church Academy YouTube Channel. And see the overall Falls Church Academy promotional video for a sense of the hands-on experiences gained from these amazing Academy classes.
- Talk to or email your school counselor to discuss how Falls Church Academy courses can fit in your schedule. They can help you register for the Academy course of interest.

Registration Time Line
- January 3, 2024: Academy Registration System Opens - Verification of student registration should be available continually to base school counselors. Students interested in Dual Enrollment courses should receive the DE packet from base school counselors with instructions for them to complete the registration and application process.
- January 16, 2024: Dual enrollment registration portal opens.
- March 6, 2024: Last day for on-time registrations - after this date, registrations can be accepted for courses on a space-available basis.
- March 7, 2024: Late registration period begins - Academies begin accepting registrations on a space-available basis at this time and priority is given to students who applied before March 22, 2024.
- March 22, 2024: Academy initial enrollment decisions - Students enrolled, waitlisted, declined to feeder schools will be available in the registration system, updates will be available as new registrations are received.
- March 23, 2024: Dual Enrollment Portal Closes.
- April 2024: Clinical Parent Meeting: Virtual parent meeting for students requesting a course with a required clinical element - Actual date to be announced
Academy Decision Process
- Grade level (juniors are given priority in 2-year programs, seniors are given priority in 1-year programs), future career goals, interest, and related activities may be used as tools to select students in oversubscribed courses.
