On Monday, November 5, five Academy teachers and 13 student volunteers helped 27 FCPS teachers become CPR certified as part of their recertification process. This activity provided a way to raise funds for Falls Church Academy HOSA. With only a week of advertising this was a big success and brought in $710 for the organization which provides opportunities for students interested in healthcare careers. The Academy plans to do a larger CPR Certification event in the spring.
