Mrs. Portnoy was born and raised in Falls Church, Virginia and is a proud graduate of Falls Church High School (GO JAGS!). She is a graduate registered nurse and studied nursing at DePaul Hospital School of Nursing and Old Dominion University. Her nursing career has been spent primarily in the pediatric ICU and emergency room. She loves teaching the next generation of nurses.
