Jennifer Sokol has been the Biotechnology Foundations instructor at Falls Church Academy for two years. She brings several years of experience in protein research, as well as a background in biochemistry, cytogenetics, biochemical engineering, and a passion for ethics to this emerging 21st Century field. She uses her experience as an adjunct in bioengineering to introduce students to a wide range of applications for biotechnology and bioengineering while also giving students practice with the fundamental techniques, safety, and communication skills needed to work in a diagnostics lab or research facility.
She is also an ice hockey player and sings in the Arlington Diocesan Choir.
