Ms. Schubring worked for twenty years contributing to the successful completion of large-scale software development projects for General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, and AT&T. She has an MBA in Information Systems Management from The George Washington University and a BSBA in Information Systems from Old Dominion University.

In 2009, she switched careers to become a high school ESOL teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools. In addition to teaching ESOL courses, she supported English learners in math and science courses at West Springfield High School. She came to Falls Church Academy in 2015.

She lives in Falls Church with her husband and high school-aged daughter.
