Mr. Nguyen teaches the only Vietnamese language program in FCPS. After graduating from the University of New Orleans, Mr. Nguyen had a long career in newspaper journalism in Northern Virginia, where his family from Vietnam called home since 1980's.  Mr. Nguyen has stayed connected to his Vietnamese heritage and language as well as community media and has acted as a volunteer and coach to local youth programs.  He has been associated with FCPS for nearly two decades as a photographer in the Multimedia Services and in Student Services as an interpreter.

Mr. Nguyen has worked hard to make Falls Church Academy's Vietnamese language program more visible and attractive to all students.
